She holds a Ph.D. on Statistics and Operations Research, University of Lisbon She is Assistant Professor at Mathematics section, Instituto Superior de Agronomia and member of the R&D Unit CMAFcIO - Center of Mathematics, Fundamental Applications and Operations Research, University of Lisbon. Her main research focuses on the field of Operations Research, development of mathematical models and exact and (meta)heuristic algorithms for combinatorial optimization problems with applications in the fields of Public transit, Fisheries, Environment and Forest management.
